Barcode scanning of a field/variable

Hello All,

Just wondering if anybody has accurate answers for the below questions. I have already searched throughout the community and knowledge base but unable to make decisions.

1) Is barcode scanning available for catalog variables? If yes, how can it be achieved?

2) Is barcode scanning available only for the ServiceNow Classic app? Because in SN new mobile apps, forms are rendered through applets and they do not support scanning feature

3) Does ServiceNow still provide support to the Classic app?

4) Any other changes regarding barcode that I must know?

Hi, 

Barcode is not available for the catalog variable. You can create a custom widget to scan barcode widget.
