Barcode widget service portal

Hi,

I've noticed that there is a barcode widget out of box in the Service Portal?   Has anyone successfully implemented this?   I would like to be able to use Service Portal for a catalog item that I have, and that catalog item has previously used the barcode field in the native app.

It would be incredibly beneficial to be able to utilize a phone's camera to scan a barcode from the Service Portal.

Hi - Thanks, but I am looking to utilize Service Portal and the widget that is already available.   I'm just not 100% sure how it works and was wondering if anyone had added it successfully to a catalog page for barcode scanning.

Hi Adam,

You can create a string field and add the barcode attribute in the dictionary. Use the Native IOS app features so that browser can access the mobile features.
