1. Based on your experience, who creates the stories in Agile development process? It is the product owner or Business analyst or who?

2. In the projects that you have handled, did you have single product owner or multiple product owners?

Hi @Suggy ,

The Product Owner owns and prioritizes the product backlog. They define what should be built, framing user stories and acceptance criteria based on business value and stakeholder input. The Business Analyst collaborates closely with the PO, stakeholders, and SMEs to detail and document stories, refine acceptance criteria, and break down high level requirements into implementable backlog items....

This is an example from my current project..

Hi @Suggy

From my experience:

User stories are usually created by the Business Analyst (BA), who refines high-level requirements from the Product Owner (PO). The PO owns the demand, prioritizes the backlog, and sets the business context, while the BA ensures the stories are detailed and actionable for the development team.

Regarding single product owner or multiple product owners this depends on the project size. Smaller projects often have a single PO, while larger projects can have multiple POs. In my project, we had PO's for (CMDB, Hardware Framework, ITSM, and Event Management) each collaborating closely with BAs to refine and prioritize stories within their respective scope.
