Hi All
We have an on premise ServiceNow instance. We have been live for 12 months, and already have > 250G of attachments. This is causing us some issues around backing up the database (time to back up) as well as the predicted capacity requirements (have just doubled the number of users on the system).
Things we are looking at
- Moving attachments out of ServiceNow to a separate server (e.g., share point)
- having attachments stored in a different database server
- Limiting the size of attachments
- Archiving attachments
Does anyone have any experience/best practices around support for large attachments and large numbers of attachments, or any experience in the above options?.
Thanks
