Best way to validate mandatory fields in workspace boards

Hi there,

We will be implementing EAP and CWM workspaces on next month and we need to make sure the Kanban boards are working properly.

Some requirements are about mandatory fields to validate before to change states. UI policies works OK for form views but not for Kanban dashboards on workspaces...

...so, my question is: What is the best way to make a field mandatory if we will managed stories from the kanban boards?

On click of the card, open the form view in side panel. The side panel can show the form view with save button. The policies that already work in workspaces should work in this panel.
