4.Use Mock Assessments Constructively: Utilize practice tests solely to evaluate conceptual understanding and identify knowledge gaps, rather than memorizing answers.

I completely agree. Certifications are important, but they should be a consequence of actually understanding the platform, not the end goal. Hands-on experience with OOB functionality, real business scenarios, and solution design is what really builds confidence for customer workshops and real-world projects

during my preparation for CIS DF I felt absolutely overwhelmed as I didn't know where to start.

And I found some random youtube videos that guarantee you passing and similar bull craps. It took me few seconds and the very first question to realise that it's not a good idea to learn from these :))

It's always better to learn from the official materials and if you cannot help it then ALWAYS VALIDATE it and review the answers.
