While passing certification exams like the CSA, CIS etc has become increasingly common, relying on exam dumps . This approach bypasses essential ServiceNow fundamentals and OOB capabilities, directly leading to challenges during business requirement gathering and solution design in project workshops.
To bridge this gap and foster true technical competence, candidates should adopt a practical, hands-on preparation strategy:
1. Master OOB Functionality:Prioritize understanding native features, workflows, and best practices within a personal developer instance (PDI) before attempting to build custom solutions.
2.Build Mini-Projects:Apply theoretical knowledge by designing and implementing end-to-end applications that reflect real-world scenarios.
3.Solve Applied Use Cases:Document specific business requirements and configure solutions from scratch to build logical problem-solving skills.
4.Use Mock Assessments Constructively: Utilize practice tests solely to evaluate conceptual understanding and identify knowledge gaps, rather than memorizing answers.
By focusing on experiential learning and practical implementation, candidates can naturally pass certification exams while developing the expertise required to lead successful customer workshops.

Hi
I completely agree. Certifications are important, but they should be a consequence of actually understanding the platform, not the end goal. Hands-on experience with OOB functionality, real business scenarios, and solution design is what really builds confidence for customer workshops and real-world projects
This helps other users find accurate and useful information more easily
