Bring data from Embedded List to Client Script

Hi,

Is there a way to bring the data from embedded list to Client script for data validations?

Please how exactly do you achieve that? If possible stepwise,

1) how to create list control by setting the label?

2) where / under what circumstances appears related list? couple of out-of-the-box list control records I took a look at don't have any related lists in their form

3) how exactly I create "List Client Script"?

I have added some code in the List Client Script but it doesn't seem to be working.
