Business Stakeholder License Consumption

Hi All,

Vendor notified us that we are over utilizing the Business Stakeholder licenses. I have checked the users, groups and roles tables and found that business_stakeholder role is not assigned to any user/group. Can someone help me how the license calculation works for Business Stakeholder

Anything license related is also contract related and we don't know your contract. Reach out to you ServiceNow sales rep. They can provide you with overviews of exactly who is using what license. It can also help you in setting up License Management, so you can monitor the usage yourself, within your instance.

You can get an overview from your ServiceNow sales representative. Alternative, have you looked in to (if configured correctly) subscription management?

Hi,

I found the below solution.

The business stakeholder license count is determined by the number of unique users assigned with the Business Stakeholder role or Business Stakeholder Type role(Eg:Approver_user). If a user is having both Business Stakeholder role and a fulfillment role(Eg:ITIL/Admin) then only one license will be consumed either under Business Stakeholder or Fulfillment Subscription.
