Hi Al,,

I am using CAB workbench to review Change Requests.

In CAB Definition record, I am setting a resource as meeting delegate but delegate is not able to start the meeting however the CAB Manager is able to start the meeting.cab_meeting_issue.png

Hello,

Only one user can control the meeting at any time. If any of your designated delegates uses the Host action, they take control of the meeting and no other CAB Manager/CAB Delegate can start or control the meeting, unless they initiate the Host action and take/re-take control. We did this to ensure no two users can fight over control at any one time.

I hope that makes sense and helps.

Best regards,

Jason Occhialini

Hi Jason, all.  Besides being a Delegate in the CAB Definition, be sure the CAB Manager (or admin) uses [Refresh CAB Meetings] in the CAB Definition. [Host] action will not show up until then in our experience.  In the Attendees window you should see CAB MANAGER, BOARD MEMBERS and ATTENDEES.

When you use the Refresh CAB Meeting UI Action, we generate the appropriate meeting occurrences and automatically associate anyone included in the CAB Manager, Delegates, and Board groups/Board Members fields as attendees with that record.

As long as your meeting record has an agenda, meaning one or more agenda items associated with it, any defined CAB Delegate can take control of that meeting occurrence. I make this distinction, because we don't allow any meeting to be started without an agenda whether you're the CAB Manager or a Delegate for the CAB Manager.

I hope that helps!

A delegate can go to CAB Workbench. In the Attendees list, he/she can find 'Host' button. Once they takeover as host and refresh the page, Start Meeting button will be visible for them.
