Calculating Metrics for historical tickets

Hi All,

We are creating new metric definition for different fields in Incident table. 

I want to understand that how can we include newly create metric for historical Incident tickets. 

Please advise.

Please see this post which has a great response from @Dennis R.  A later comment from Dennis from his original answer provides an example script to run to create metrics for historical tickets.  He does mention however that these types of scripts can take time to run so would be advisable to run this outside of your core hours.
