Hello,
I am trying to update the Calendar component (sn_calendar) plugin on my PDI. The newer versions resolve several existing issues, and this plugin is also a required dependency for other applications, such as Service Operations Workspace ITSM Advanced Applications.
However, I am currently unable to perform this update. Is this the expected behavior, or is this a known issue?

Hi @Franziska
Yes, we cannot access the Store App in PDI. This is expected behaviour in this environment.

Hi Dr. Atul G.
Thank you for the answer!
I was wondering if there is any specific reason behind why it's not available? I'd love to check out any documentation or explanations regarding plugins that aren't accessible for PDIs, especially the free ones.

Yes, they might require licensing or have associated costs, and in some cases they could also be third-party solutions.
Just to be clear, this is not limited to the Store App. There are several plugins that are also not available in PDI. Access to these Store Apps/plugins is only possible in a customer instance/company owned

Hello Dr. Atul G.,
Thank you for your response and the explanation.
It remains difficult to understand why this specific plugin cannot be updated, given that it was included out-of-the-box (OOTB) with the Personal Developer Instance (PDI) and is a free solution managed directly by ServiceNow.
If future updates introduce dependencies on plugins that are unavailable within PDIs, it raises concerns regarding the long-term utility and effectiveness of maintaining a PDI for development purposes.
