Hi Everyone,
Is there any chance that a non-admin user can import data or load data in to Servicenow.
With out giving them the roles is there any chance???
Thanks,
Prathima.

You need to have import roles to import data. Giving the general public import access would be dangerous to say the least.

Hi Chunk,
Yeah that's what I'm really concerned I don't want to give them an admin level role because the Service Desk people may mess up things.
Any alternative with out giving them that roles can they load or import data???
Thanks,
Prathima.

You don't have to give them admin role to let them import data. Identify a few key people and grant them the appropriate roles from the list above.

Hi,
You need to automate your load, there are 2 good options available which does not requires a role
1) Create a record producer to automate service desk data loads
2) Automate loading via email
Loading data from an email attachment
Thanks
