Hello @yandp
Deleting an update set or the customer updates within an update set is not a recommended or set practice.
You should rather back out the update set, and create a new one.
You can find the documentation here : Cautions about deleting update sets

Hi @yandp ,
Do not delete them,
Open those entries and map them to the default update set and commit the update set.
Please mark correct if my response has solved your query.
Cheers,
Mohammed Basheer Ahmed.

Hi @yandp,
As per best practice, we should never ever delete customer updates from update set.
If your update set is in progress state, then you can open your customer updates which you don't want to capture in your update set and change your local update set name to default update set and save the record.

Hi,
Yes, however system suggest the best practice but sometime you need to fulfill technical aspect.
If the update set is still in progress under development, you can transfer some unwanted items to other update set or Default and keep the main update set clean or higher instance. I don't prefer the Delete item better to create some "Temp" update set and transfer in it.
Please mark this response as correct and helpful if it helps you can mark more that one reply as accepted solution
