Can Insert and Stay action trigger Business rules, Flows?

Hi all,

I created Business rule and Flow that are triggered when a record (or specific field) is updated.

When I create a record by using "Insert and Stay" action, BR and Flow didn't work.

Is it OOTB functionality?

Hi @shun6 Just tested my BR in PDI , insert and stay triggered my BR. So it should work as long as your condition matches and your  Business rule runs on insert

Hi @shun6 ,

"Insert & Stay" will not trigger BR & flow which triggers on Update of any record. Insert & Stay is treated like new entry, to ensure BR & flow triggers on Insert & Stay - Check the insert check box on your BR & change the trigger condition on your flow. - Verified in PDI.

Insert and stay -> insert operation

if your BR or flow is not configured to run on insert, it won't trigger
