The objects you are trying to delete have metric results and some other results. Type results in the search. You will see metric results, you can then search for the object in the metric results and delete the results. Once they are gone you should be able to delete the object you were trying to delete. Worked for me.
if searching for a particular demand in the assessment metric results table, for Source enter the SYSID of the demand .. trying to use the text of the demand name doesnt work when searching on the Source field.
