Hello,
When you first create a developer account and login to the portal you are asked:
"Are you a coder?" or something like that...if you select no, then you have the change user role option. If you select yes, then you don't.
So you would need to create another account since you've already picked that you are a coder, thus the change user role option does not show.
You are not able to change it after the fact and we can't help you do that on the forums (just mentioning it because people have asked). You can attempt to use the "Give Feedback" button at the bottom of the SN dev portal page and see if someone from SN will help or you use another account for this training.

Thanks for ur help.
I made 'Give Feedback' to SNow, and I reset&wipe the instance.
Now the 'Change User Role' shows in the top menu.

Hi,
Great. Not sure if you're saying someone assisted you from using the Give Feedback option (which I also mentioned above in my post). Having your instance and resetting it alone wouldn't cause that to come back. I've done that before, myself, as well as had the instance reclaimed and I got a new one and it didn't return.
Leads me to believe your give feedback got to a SN employee and they assisted with something behind the scenes?
Thanks
