Can the members of a DDL (Dynamic Distribution List) be added to a group in the sys_user_group table

Assuming that "Microsoft Azure Active Directory spoke" was enabled can the members of a DDL (Dynamic Distribution List sometimes called Dynamic Distribution Group or DDG) be set as the members of a group (with type of itil - ergo an assignment group)?

As a Dynamic Distribution List is dynamic its members are not a static list of members as with a DL (Distribution List). Therefore I would expect that when a DDL is imported into a table it would not have any members.

I have checked the ServiceNow document page "Microsoft Azure Active Directory spoke" (current link below) for "DDL" or "Dynamic" but these terms do not exist on the page. I have also search the entire product documentation for "Dynamic Distribution List", "Dynamic Distribution Group", "DDG" and "DDL" and there are no result for these exact search terms.

Is this the wrong spoke to be using to import DDL information? Is there another?

Hello,

Could you please let me know if you were able to get an answer to your question ? I'm in the same situation, the only difference is that I'm using Microsoft Provisionning.

Thanks a lot 🙏
