Hi community,
I have 2 questions
1) Can we add members to particular group manually in prod instance
2) which one can move 1st "groups" or "update set" to prod instance
Regards,

Hi @Srinivasu2
- Yes you can add, it won't be an issue unless your organizations policy doesn't allow it.
- Move the groups and then the Update Sets.

Hi @Srinivasu2 ,
1) It is not advisable for developers to add the members manually to a group in production. Developers should do this via a Change Request from lower instance to higher instance.
As an alternative, there will a support group who will have access to production and we should create a Requested item in production and they will perform the action
2) First move the foundation data i.e, groups into production followed by update sets.
Mark this as helpful if it is

1) Can we add members to particular group manually in prod instance
You can use new/edit button to add members to the group on the prod.
2)which one can move 1st "groups" or "update set" to prod instance
If your update set has records referring to the group than you should move the group first.
