Can we change Catalog Builder default filter?

Hey all,

Using Catalog Builder. The default catalog item list filter looks like this:

We can make changes to the filter and create a filter for myself, a group, or everyone. This is goodness.

However, I want to change the default filter (like the one above) for EVERYONE when they begin using catalog builder.

I do not see a way to change the default filter for Catalog Builder.

My use case is that we have 200+ catalog items and I'd only like our catalog builder user to see about 25 of those catalog items. Less is more in this case.

If anyone has any input/suggestions, please let me know-

Yes, you can change the default filter in the Catalog Builder. To do this, go to the Catalog Builder page, click the 'Filter' button, and select the desired filter from the drop-down menu.

You kind of outlined what I've already tried. I'm also trying to eliminate the need for my catalog builder users to select a filter (they will forget to do this). Whereas what I really want is a new default filter to be used whenever CB is used.
