Can we clone a Variants in UI Builder?

I am learning a UI Builder and wanted to know can we copy a Variants like clone?  please explain.

My understanding is that duplicate only works within the same application. Is there any way I could copy/move/duplicate a variant to a different application? Either using UIB or AES?
