Can we convert the Data policy into UI policy and UI policy to Data policy.

Hi All,

 

Can we convert the Data policy into UI policy and UI policy to Data policy.

As of my understanding we can convert the data policy into UI policy but I am not sure about the UI policy convert into Data policy.

In both I can see the link like 

  • Convert this to Data Policy in UI policy and
  • Convert this to UI Policy in Data Policy.

 

Can any one please provide the input on this one..

Yes, you can convert Data Policies into UI Policies, but converting UI Policies into Data Policies is not straightforward,


The requirements listed on the UI Policy form must be fulfilled in order to convert a UI policy to a data policy

- The Run scripts check box must be cleared.
- The Global check box must be selected.
- None of the UI policy actions can have Visible set to True or set to False, Visible must be set to Leave Alone.
