Can we create metric definitions on custom tables

Hello,

I've a custom table which is not extended from task table.

I want to track changes on few fields of that table. So I created a metric definition for same.

I've cloned business rule 'Metric events' as well for my custom table. But as per my definition (its just field duration) metrics are not getting created.

My question is,

Does metric definition works for non task extended tables?

Hi @suraj 7588

Out-of-the-box, the working of Metrics is limited to Task extended tables. Out-of-the-box also several Metric Instances are active and collect Metric Definitions. You might not even be aware of this! Navigate to "Metrics > Definitions" to see what already has been captured on your instance out-of-the-box.
