Please contact Hi portal, they will give you a temporary instance as per your request for 15 or more days.

It is absolutely free of cost.

Temp instances are only given for critical reasons like dataloss and if Support needs it for troubleshooting and will be decommissioned after solved.

Temp instances are not there for testing purposes as that is what sub prod instances are for.

As far as i know Temporary Instance are not being provided unless and until its critical to the Application to follow this norm, for general purpose backup or testing, you can always clone your Production Instance into a Sub Prod instance prior to any updates/upgrades.
