Sadly, no. There is (currently) no way to set the stages in a subflow, they are only available on a Flow.

This is extremely sad, I am struggling to set stages in sub-flows from last 2 days.

A wierd thing is happening with me, I have 90 question choices in request form. Out of which some of the random choices are showing up RITM stages in service portal and others are showing stage as completely blank. Any logic behind this random thing?

Hi Shivani,

As @OlaN said correct, You cannot add stages to the subflow. You have mentioned currently the stage is displaying backend value because you have added custom stages. what is your triggering point? if you are creating flow for service catalog then click on the "add stages from template" option & select "requested item" template. After that it will not show backend value in the stage field.
