Can we use CART API for Record Producers?

Hey Mark, That post is 2-5 years old, I was really hoping that with New York, there might be a way to use CART API for record producers.

Currently, If I pass a sys_id of record producer in the CART API Code, My records are being created but I receive a error.(Snapshot Attached)

The error is valid, your record producer is not part of a cart. Also, the API is about triggering a workflow, creating a request, etc..

All not what you are after. So again: No, not intended for Record Producer.
