Can you add fields to Content Publishing experience/form?

When creating content, like a new event, news, etc., is there any way for us to add new fields to these form sections within the Content Publishing experience?

I've already checked UI Pages, Portal Pages, UI Builder Experiences, Forms, etc., and can't locate anything related to this. We added a new field to the events form, but it doesn't show up, so I'm assuming there is a property somewhere, or maybe it's hidden in code in terms of which fields show up here. 

Either way, any info would be awesome. If it isn't possible, it's not a big deal.

@Dustin-Barre I dnt think you will find this UI page because if you see the URL the page is "$streamline_content_authoring" and mostly the pages starting with $ are not available for us to be customised, based on my previous experiences with such pages.

I also inspected the page and found the HTML displaying the fields valid-template-options="$ctrl.validTemplateOptions"  , so I believe this is also hidden somewhere in code we we cannot customise.

Alright, I figured as much. It would just be nice to be able to add some fields here, like 'Category', etc. 

Either way, thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if anyone else might have known about a system property or some configuration file somewhere that we do have access to, but by the looks of it, there isn't anything.
