I have a yearly quota, let's say I need to have 2000 hours on my time_card.
I have a report right now that does a sum of all the hours I did, but that requires me to do mental math each month I look at it. Is there a way for me to have a report set up where I can basically say "2000 - total_hours = n" and just show the hours left I need?

Hi @e_wilber,
Basically no, the "function field" which @Dr Atul G- LNG have mentioned is on record level and not a constant minus several record entries. To do the calculation in ServiceNow, you need a PA indicator with a PA formula indicators. By doing this you can do a daily snapshot with the calculation of your need.
