Capabilities of the CSM configurable Workspace in comparison with the existing CSM Agent Workspace

As per few documents, I got to know that existing "CSM Agent Workspace" will be deprecated in Washington and will be replaced with the “CSM configurable workspace”.
Hence I'm trying to understand what new features are added in the configurable workspace and whats the main difference between them.
Can anyone help!!
