Capturing attachments in update sets

Hi Everyone!

Question: What is the best way to capture an attachment in an update set? Also will the sys_id of the attachment change once its in a different environment?

Hi,

      where are you going to attach that attachment ? If you are attaching it to catalog item, ite will automatically capture in updater set, and you can move it to other instance also.

or We have to move the 'sys_attachment_doc' records pertaining to the sys_attachment record also.

Yes, it will attach to a catalog item. I moved it and it didn't automatically attach. When you say "sys_attachment_doc" record can you ellaborate or give an example.
