Catalog builder recently updated items

Hi, we have just started using the catalog builder option, and I have gotten a complaint from clients that in the "recently updated items" they see all the items instead of the relevant ones. I have tried to look for a widget or script to change but I was unsuccessful.

Is there a way to change that box?

I just changed the one item and i can see 

and other are available, do you want to remove other items from here?

I want to filter it that each user sees only the items that they are the owner of, or one of the people in their group is an owner of.

I doubt this code is available for us to modified. Better log a now support case for this.
