I’m trying to publish a Catalog Item after making a minor edit, but when I attempt to save or publish it, I receive the error: “Security prevents writing to this field.” This occurs even when logged in as Admin. I’ve checked for Client Scripts that might be restricting the field, and confirmed there are no obvious restrictions on the catalog item or variable set.
Has anyone encountered this issue before or found what typically causes it?

Hi @HiamA4192477189,
It is because this is the read-only field.
To Publish the Catalog Item:
- Select an item and click Edit button.
- Select Review and submit tab, review the catalog item and click Submit.
- Click Return to my dashboardand verify the item is now published.
