Catalog Builder - set price on items

Hi!

 

Anyone found a good way of handling Price on Catalog Items created via the Catalog Builder? We would like to share the administration of our catalog items with other parts in our organization to be able to use the catalog builder with the delegation model etc, but since we cannot have them to set the price on the items they create we are stuck. Had some ideas of creating a variable and a BR reading this updating the price etc, but it didn’t really turn out as expected.

Hi Peter,

 

We're running into the same issue and I was wondering if you found out more since you posted the question out here. It's peculiar that no more responses were made as one would think that 'edit price' should be a common business requirement following the philosophy of the product . Is it an oversight in design or is deliberately excluded to maintain in Builder.

 

What did you ended up doing to allow 'business' to change the price?

Hi, I haven't found any solution for this yet. According to rumors there will be some solution on this topic in Utah.
