Catalog Item Hidden from Portal After Associating Service Offering

Hi Everyone,

I need some help with a requirement related to Service Offerings and Catalog Items.

I have a requirement where I need to associate a Service Offering with a Catalog Item in the Maintain Items (sc_cat_item) table. I noticed there is an out-of-the-box related list available that allows us to link Service Offerings to Catalog Items (screenshot attached below).

However, I am facing an unexpected issue. When I associate a particular Service Offering with a Catalog Item, the Catalog Item becomes hidden from the Service Portal. It no longer appears when I search for it in the portal.

What is interesting is that when I associate other Catalog Items with different Service Offerings, those Catalog Items remain visible and work as expected. So, the issue seems to occur only with certain Service Offerings.

Has anyone encountered this behaviour before?

I also check the service offering there is no subscriber in it see the attached SS below:

Could you please suggest:

What configurations or relationships I should check?
Are there any Service Offering attributes that can impact Catalog Item visibility in the portal?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @zee15

You should take a look at the audience associated with that particular service offering.  When s service offering is associated with audience it also restrict the visibility of that specific catalog item

If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

Hi @AndersBGS , yes, I checked and there is no audience associated with either of the service offerings. However, the catalog form is visible for one service offering but not for the other. Since both appear to be configured the same way, I'm not sure what is causing this difference in behavior.
