Catalog Items Listed in the Order Guide are showing up for every user

I'm seeing an issue where a user can see every selection in the Order Guide's list collector, even if it's supposed to be hidden depending on their location.

 

We have a Rule Base set up and each catalog item is attached to the "Include this item" field.

Each of these catalog item's user criteria is set correctly, but it is not transferring to the Order Guide.

 

For example, a user outside of the USA can see selections they're not supposed to see.

They can select it in the Describe Needs, but once they click Choose Options, it will redirect to the Service Catalog main screen and present an error message stating "The order guide resulted in no items being selected for order."

 

Is there a way to hide all the options they're not set up to see?

I would try a couple of options:

  • Try debugging the ACLs (read operation) for table, by enabling "Debug Security Rules".  Then impersonate said user from "USA" and open a list view of the table the list collector is referencing to see if that user can view those options.
  • Or filter out options from the list collector via a reference qualifier for that variable.
