Change Graph Type for Dashboard Report

I have a dashboard with a report on it. It shows INC closed by my departments different assignment groups by the month. Unfortunately, the graph (trend) is showing as a stacked bar graph.

I would like to find out how to make each of the assignment groups a vertical line beside each other for each month so that they can be better distinguished apart from each other.

How do I do that.

As far as I can see from your pictures, it's because you have chosen a trend report:

If you instead scroll to time series and chose column :

Then you will see the option:

Hi @kshaw

 

When you are making a bar chart graph through ServiceNow reporting tool, you have the option to either make it stacked or grouped bars as shown below:

To chose between stacked or grouped bars is available, as soon as you choose a stacked by column value.

I can not find any place that allows the selection of Stacked Bars vs Grouped Bars as you image shows.

Here are the screenshots of the report editing...
