Change Management Assess Risk in SOW view

Hi Team,

In Change management SOW view we have option to "Assess Risk" during new state if we click on assess risk and submit Risk question i don't have option to Re-asses the Risk during other states i.e. Assess and Authorize.

Please provide me the solution such that Re-assess Risk should be allowed during Assess and Authorize state in change management.

Hi Buddy,

In Change Management, Risk Assessment is only intended to be done in the New state, which is why the Assess Risk option disappears once you move to later states.

If you want to allow Re-assessing Risk in Assess and Authorize, you’ll need a small customization.

The simplest solution is to update the Assess Risk UI Action on the change_request table:

• Modify the UI Action condition to include the Assess and Authorize states in addition to New

Once you do that, the Assess Risk button will appear again in those states and allow users to re-submit the risk assessment.

Just be aware that re-assessing risk can impact approvals or authorization logic if those are tied to the risk level, so you may need to review that as well.
