We are implementing Change Management. Previously the team used SharePoint for Change Management. Now they are looking to populate the ServiceNow category field with 45 items from SharePoint. ServiceNow has always advised to limit the selection to 8 to 10 categories.
Below are just a few of the CM categories:
Application-P2P SAP Transport
Application-SAP General
Application-Non-SAP
Information Services - BI SAP Transport
Application-L2C SAP Transport
Application-W&L SAP Transport
Application-FIN SAP Transport
Application-Dev SAP Transport
Application -P2M SAP Transport
Infrastructure - SAP Security
Application-BPC SAP Transport
Application-SNC SAP Transport
Application - SAP MII (Marco)
Seems like these should be classified as services and/or service offerings. Or even a subcategory field. Does anyone know a better approach?
Are other companies listing 45 categories in the category field?
