I'm looking for a way / solution that will help to achieve two things:
1. Create / Update / Retire a CI in CMDB based on Change Task
2. Update third party tool with information about created / updated or retired CI using second Change task
So the change will have two change tasks:
1. For updating CMDB
2. For updating third party tool
I was thinking for using workflows for both cases but not sure if it is possible anyhow.
AD1. Workflow will create object in CMDB based on information available in the Change about creation of new CI (Change task 1)
AD2. Once the task for creating object in CMDB will be completed, tasks (Change task2) for updating third party tool will be started and based on information available in previous change task or in CMDB about new CI or update to the CI it will send an update to third party tool (I'm not sure if in workflow there is such option to put link / ips of other tools to push some data from ServiceNow).
Any ideas are more than welcome.
