Change request values missing in standard change request

I am using standard change template and while proposing a change, i see all the change request values, but when i save or request approval, i lost those values and those doesn't show up when the request goes for approval. Can someone advise where could be the issue?

One more finding.. the change request values are missing only when it is in request approval phase/ in progress state.

Hi Malaya,

Can you please try to open the proposal and right click on the header of the form and select "Show XML" (you must be admin) if the "template_value" is populated?

If yes, can you please check that field shown on the form is really the "template_value" field and not the UI macro that is sometimes shown on the forms when the template value must be read-only? See the screenshot below - you need to right-click on the field label:

If this is also the case, then I would check the console when loading the form if any errors are there causing it not properly rendered.

Additionally please turn on "Debug Security" and open the proposal. Check if you have write access to "template_value" field. I remember we had similar issue that template_value was not rendered when it was supposed to be rendered as read-only. However now on my developer instance it works (for itil user once requested approval, the change request values is read-only) but I am on Istanbul release. What release do you have?

Small query can we make those feilds mandatory which are by default
