Hello,
I am noticing something interesting on our change requests.
When a change task is created, the user can populate the Planned Start Date.
Let's say they put 12/29/2022 10:20AM as the Planned Start Date.
I notice that once that time passes (12/29/2022 at 10:20AM), the change request state will move from Authorize back to New.
I cannot find any business rule causing this nor can I see anything in the workflow that would be causing this. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Hu @SandyL83,
Have you deviated from OOTB Change workflow? Because, in OOTB the tasks get created only in Implement state.
In OOTB, the Change moves back to New to Authorize state if any of the approvers added rejects it. So, I would suggest you to also check this below condition,
If Change task planned start date exceeds the actuals, then are you rejecting the approvers of the Change, because this will automatically, move the Change from Authorize to New state.
I think, this could be one of the ways you can try to debug.
Regards,
Gagan

Thank you - I was able to figure out what was going on by looking at the workflow. Thanks so much for the feedback.
