change the max length property of short description in incident form

Hi community,

I want to change the max length of short description 160 to 200. But I can't edit the field because it extends from task table.

Then I tried to change length using the dictionary override functionality. It's not working.  Please help me...

it's urgent...

open the field on the task table and increase the length there!

How did you try to change it? I just opened it on my incident form and changed it to 200 and it worked just fine...

I want to change the max length of a short description in the incident. But not affect the base table Task. I am a beginner. Is there any other method?
