change the max length property of short description in incident form

Hi community,

I want to change the max length of short description 160 to 200. But I can't edit the field because it extends from task table.

Then I tried to change length using the dictionary override functionality. It's not working.  Please help me...

Hi Jeslin,

If you are in the global scope and have admin it should allow you to increase the size if the field. But since it is on task it will not be limited to incident but on all child tables.

Dictionary override does not allow you to change the size though.

go to the configure Dictionary and set the max length
