Chart legend doesn't match chart

I have created a report using the time series column type. The chart is displaying the data correctly, but the legend doesn't match the chart. The y-axis is "Average Days To Complete", and the x-axis is set to trend by month.

The legend is being generated by the chart, and it is wrong. (see snapshot below) For example, the June 2021 iis showing 6.79 days, which is correct, but the color depicts that it is > 2 months. Any suggestions/ideas?

Not sure how you are grouping it. You might need to define separate Report range by navigating to Reports >> Administration >> Report Ranges

Thanks for your reply. I'm grouping by the Completion Date on the Project. Here is the configuration from the report:

Thanks but it will still limit it to OOB Report ranges as in comments before. All you need is to adjust the range as per your case but this will impact all. So, instead create ranges specific to your table to make it work for your use case.

I had presumed that since I told it to trend by Completion Date by month, that it would show the average of all records for each month.

What I'm after is to have one bar per month with the average days to complete for all records for that month.
