Clarification on Logo Display in Service Operations Workspace Post-Yokohama Upgrade

Sirri

Hi All,

We have recently upgraded our ServiceNow instance to the Yokohama version. Prior to this, we were using the Washington DC version.

In the Service Operations Workspace of the Washington DC version, the logo displayed was the default ServiceNow logo. However, after upgrading to Yokohama, we’ve noticed that the logo in the Service Operations Workspace now matches the banner image, rather than displaying the ServiceNow logo.

Could you please help us understand:

  1. Why is the banner image now appearing as the logo in the Service Operations Workspace?
  2. If we wish to revert to the default ServiceNow logo, what configuration or settings need to be updated?

We would appreciate it if you could provide clear steps or documentation to guide us through this change.

Thank you for your support.

Hi @Sirri

Is it possible for you to share a screenshot showing where you're checking the image and what exactly you're looking at?

Hi @Sirri,

to what environment is this applicable?

If this happened for example in TEST and the logo in DEV is displayed correctly, then go to the correct option and click right mouse button on the logo and click "Open picture in new tab" (or similar) and from the URL you will get an idea what is the picture's name, then try to search for that picture in the environment where it is broken, whether the picture still exists.

But if you think it is related to the upgrade, please refer to following articles:

The articles above might be to understand what happened, the below is how to fix it:

But ensure to understand this and avoid from happening again after next upgrades.

Let me know if this helped you or something else is needed

@Sirri
OK and have you checked the Articles?

There is one more - KB0964327:

If the articles don't help, can you please explain again "we’ve noticed that the logo in the Service Operations Workspace now matches the banner image"?

Optimally provide a screenshot of what exactly is wrong, the logo in the top-left corner or the Workspace logo? Please explain and we will find solution together
