Clearing Value from Password field

Hi All,

I have created a field type as password 2, I want the field value to be cleared when i clear and save it, but its not clearing the value. plz let me know how to achieve it.

it's password 2 type and hence issue might be coming.

what's the error?

error - trying to clear the password field value, but its not clearing the value,

requirement - whenever created, changed or deleted it should be captured in logs, when created, changed , deleted its capturing, but not clearing the value in the field when deleted
