CMDB Query Builder - Add Columns feature is not working

Hello Everyone,

 

We are experiencing an issue in CMDB Query Builder in our instance. When non-admin users try to create or edit a CMDB query and click on "(+)  Add Columns" to select attributes, the list appears empty. For admin users, this functionality works as expected.

Browser console shows 500 Internal Server Error when the GUI calls the ServiceNow REST API to retrieve entity attributes.

 

 

  • Has anyone seen this issue where CMDB Query Builder attribute selection fails for non-admin users?
  • Which roles or ACLs are required for non-admin users to retrieve CMDB attributes via Query Builder?
  • Could this be related to Roles, or specific table-level ACLs?
