Column visibility in List view and ACLs

Hi there, a question which I would love some help with.

I want to show the Short Description column form my change requests into the List view for My Approvals. To do so, I have added the column by personalizing the list view. However, this was only partially successful - I can see the Short Description content with Admin users, but not with other users. With 'regular' users I see this:

I am pretty sure it's a common of ACLs but I can't seem to figure it out. I checked this: Re: Column shown blank in list view in spite of having values

but I still can't get it done.

Hi Dimitar,

First make sure that it is the same field that is coming up for all users. After that you can right click on the header->Personalize->All->Access Controls. Open the read ACL for this field (if field is short_description in incident table, the acl will be like incident.short_description). Open the ACL and check if the role is there in the Requires Role related list, if its not there click on Edit and add it.

Thanks & Regards,

Hari

Hi Hari, thanks for the answer. I did try that, but when I go to perzonalize Approvals, I don't have any ACL for the field I need (change_request.short_description). All I have is the following:

Can you put a filter with Operation is read and see if there are any field level ACLs

Hari, these are the Read security rules on Approvals.
