Conditionally exclude one recipient from notification based on related record data Body

Hi Community,

I have a notification on sn_hr_core_case that sends to multiple recipients:

  • Subject person
  • Raised by
  • Subject person's Manager

I need to exclude only the Subject person from receiving the notification when:

  • Their HR Profile's Legal Entity country = "Spain" AND
  • Their employment type = Consultant for example

All other recipients should still receive the notification.

The Advanced condition script blocks the entire notification for everyone. How can I conditionally exclude just one recipient while sending to the others?

What's the best practice approach for this?

Hi, I would suggest accomplishing this requirement the other way around. Auditing an additional recipient is comparatively easier and can be done using event parms or Notification email script (CC). Add that additional person to the recipients only if 

Their HR Profile's Legal Entity country != "Spain"     OR

Their employment type != Consultant for example
