Configuration Item field search is causing high session wait time and slowness

Hi Everyone,

In Agent Workspace incident view, Configuration Item field search is causing high session wait time and slowness. it takes more than 2 mins when ever user's search the item.

please help me on these. how to  reduced the time taken?

Hi Rajesh, 

Firstly I would suggest raising a hi-ticket with ServiceNow as there are so many factors to performance issues. 

Secondly, have you made any changes to the reference qualifier of the configuration item field ?
Does this only occur on the workspace ? What about on the form view or list view ?

No, we did't do any changes in reference qualifier of the CI field.

yes, it occurs only Workspace.

Hi Rajesh, 

Yes I think it might be a platform issue then , we had something similar and raised a ticket with ServiceNow. 

Never got down to the root cause but it did get resolved.
